Overview
Hi everyone!
This week is final exam week! For our class, you have some reflecting to do instead of a formal exam. Please take some time to think over the past semester and the ideas, themes, and stories that stood out to you. This assignment is very flexible — the goal is to take an hour or so to think about what you valued from the course and what you will take with you when you move on to the next thing!
It has been a pleasure to work with you all this semester! Thank you for all the hard work you have put in!

This is the transcript of her explaining how to do the assignment......... Hi, everybody, this video is to help you get a sense for what the exam week assignment is. Instead of a regular exam this semester, we have a reflection assignment to wrap up the semester. So for that assignment, you have three parts. Those three parts include an overall reflection on what you got out of the semester and two pieces of things to help future students, one being advice from you and the other being consent: if you're willing to share your work as an example for future students. You're going to submit all of this in one text box. But you want to separate it by giving putting spaces between the different elements. If you have a hard time getting it all submitted on one and you have to do multiple submissions, that's OK. I will still see everything that you turn in. Please do not use attachments for the submission in the text box. So those three pieces. Reflections. So the reflection piece is a really huge question, because I want you to be able to tell me anything that you got out of this class that you value. OK, so you're going to start with what are - and you need to have three things - ideas, skills, practices, stories. I'm trying to write this as broadly as possible. So anything you feel like you learned from the experience of taking this class, whether it's something that was part of the content or it was something that you learned about yourself as a student from the process of taking this class, it doesn't matter. But I want you to just be thinking about what it is you learned that you think you can take with you out of this class. So what do you think will stick with you after the semester is over? You need to talk about three specific things, and then you need to tell me why you think that each is important. OK, you're going to write three hundred plus words, or you can if you'd rather talk, you can record yourself talking at two minutes plus. You want to make sure your ideas are clearly organized into three separate paragraphs, because that's really all the only way I'm grading as I'm looking is there a paragraph one is there paragraph two is there paragraph three. And is there something specific about what you learned in each of those paragraphs? OK, it can be anything at all that you learned in this class this semester. OK.
