Overview
After watchingBlood Memory: Extended Version (Kanopy), discuss the following:
- Research an article related to the 2023 SCOTUS decision: 21-376 Haaland v. Brackeen (You may read the decision instead of researching an article, but it may be easier to research an article related to the decision). If you use a different article, be sure to link it to your discussion. If you use the one I have provided, make that clear in your discussion.
- Tell us if the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) decision was in favor of ICWA. Using examples from the documentary and citing the article, explain how you feel about the decision. Do you agree with the majority position? Why/Why not?
