Overview
This week, you've been tasked with identifying a college-level research question that intersects your future career goals with one of the themes we've discussed in class. You have research proposals, which should identify your final research question, due on Sunday.
Therefore, I'd like for you to use this week's DB post as an opportunity to share your brainstorming and beginning ideas about your topic and to help one another narrow and refine your research questions. Think of the board as a think tank.
Try to use this week's post as an opportunity to share one--or maybe two--somewhat narrowed research questions, rather than offering a list of lots of broad topics you COULD choose. We want to help you refine the research question you'll be writing a proposal for this weekend, and we can only do that if you give us some direction.
Aim to write 250 words about what you're thinking, give us a couple of possible research questions to consider, identify any potential challenges you are having/might have, and ask us any questions that you think would help you refine your choice.
Also, because proposals are due Thursday, let's get all responses posted by midnight on Wednesday. That way, you all get your feedback from classmates before proposals are due.
