Profesor comments- You'll want to think more about narrowing your topic with the who? what? when? where? how? why? parameters discussed in our modules, but you have a good topic idea here. Also, be sure to revisit the organization/structure of paragraphs and placement of quotes. Quotes should go in the middle of paragraphs and then be followed with response/analysis. Also, the second annotation is missing an in-text citation which should be a minute-marker. TedTalks are great sources but they still require citations.
You did an excellent job on your video presentation, but I have a few concerns about the proposal. At nearly 7 pages, this is much longer than a proposal assignment (which is more like 3 pages). It is also structured in a way that doesn't include the required series of questions. Although you include one research question, I requested a series of questions. See presentation "research questions." I do think you have a great topic, and I trust you are open to discovery and finding out new information. Just be sure you are viewing this as a proposal essay and not the research essay.
