Overview
Specifications of the professor: For Discussions and ALL work moving forward in university and your career, you MUST use APA citations in-text and list references in every post, document, etc. that you make. In science, you must always reference and cite all ideas, facts, and paraphrasing. If you are learning the concept for the first time in this class, the concept is new and thus must be cited. Even when writing long research papers, the most basic of facts or ideas must be cited.
*Specifically for this class, again, this must be done in both your discussion posts and your replies. Failure to do so results in a -1 for this class (75%), as stated in the directions on every discussion post. Be sure to always include both in-text citations AND list the references at the end.
In-text citations:
APA in-text citation style uses the author's last name and the year of publication, for example: (Field, 2005). For direct quotations, include the page number as well, for example: (Field, 2005, p. 14)
