PART C REPLY TO DISCUSSION
Good Evening Professor and Class,
Below are the 5 Leadership skills that my organization looks for when evaluating someone's ability to be an effective leader.
1. The ability to effectively and clearly articulate the goals that have been set but also having the ability to listen to the team.
2. Understanding and navigating your team with the understanding that all team members are not the same. Adapting to approach to each member and reflecting empathy accordingly
3. Being able to analyze the most effective way to get a project or objective down while working with your team's strength to ensure that the company's expectations are met.
4. Being able to think outside the box and breaking down complex task in order to get the job done and ensure that the team feels supported and confident in their role.
5. Having an understanding that everyone makes mistakes. Being able to own up to it and show accountability to your staff gains great respect from them as well as team work to ensure that it wont happen again.

Read the attached article by Atkinson et al. (2021), Feedback and Coaching.
- Share a recent feedback conversation in which you participated in any capacity (facilitator, recipient, or observer). Provide details about the conversation (who, what, where, etc.).
- Based on your experience, what factors or actions ultimately led to a change in behavior?
- What information from the article by Atkinson et al. supports the behavior change previously mentioned?
PART F REPLY TO DISCUSSION
A recent feedback conversation I experienced was with a supervisor at work after I made a mistake while assisting a customer. We spoke privately, and my supervisor explained what I had done incorrectly, why it mattered, and how I could handle a similar situation more effectively in the future. The conversation was respectful and focused on improvement rather than criticism, which made me more receptive to the feedback. The biggest factor that led to a change in my behavior was the clear communication and specific guidance I received. Instead of simply pointing out the mistake, my supervisor provided examples of the correct process and encouraged me to ask questions. As a result, I became more confident and have been more careful to follow procedures when helping customers. The article by Atkinson et al. supports this approach by emphasizing that effective feedback should be timely, constructive, and focused on growth rather than blame. The article also explains that coaching works best when it encourages reflection, provides actionable guidance, and creates a supportive environment where individuals are motivated to improve. My experience showed how respectful coaching can lead to meaningful and lasting behavior change.

Instructions
Complete the following for this week's assignment.
- In the first two sections of your reflection application paper, you will write about your strengths and areas for improvement. Remember that while the Clifton Strengths Assessment provides a focus on strengths, it also highlights areas of challenge within those strengths that you must be mindful of to fully maximize the strength. Focus on those areas for needed improvement.
- You will then apply an AI application of your choice, and upload your report. Ask the AI to analyze your report, highlighting your strengths and weaknesses. Then ask AI to create a paragraph that summarizes your report for you to use on a resume. Include this paragraph in your paper and compare the AI report to your own survey of your report. Write a paragraph about how the AI makes you sound for your resume, do you like it, is it too much, or too little?
- Then take your strengths and consider how they might be helpful in leading and supporting the implementation of a digital transformation initiative, such as artificial intelligence, in the digitized workplace.
- In 2-3 pages, in an APA style paper (Title page, Body of Paper, References - No Abstract) reflect and consider how your results apply to your development as a digital leader by addressing the following:
- What are your strengths?
- What areas need improvement?
- How might you leverage your unique strengths to lead and support implementing artificial intelligence initiatives in a digitized work environment?
- Including your AI resume paragraph summarizes your report and your thoughts on it.
- Follow APA formatting guidelines: https://libguides.devry.edu/APA
