For this discussion I want you to reflect on how and when you want your elected officials to vote. I want you to think of the most important issues you care about and ask if you would prefer that your elected official vote the way you would vote on that issue or share your positions completely? Or, do you prefer that they vote their conscience assuming they know more about an issue than you do?
