Instructions
This week you will create a rough draft of your 1-page fact sheet.
Take some time to look around, either online or in your day-to-day environment and see what fliers and information sheets (types of 1-pagers) stand out to you visually. Think about what elements you’d like to incorporate into your own 1 pager.
There are many free programs and templates you can use to help you create your 1-pager. Some options include:
- CanvaLinks to an external site.
- Microsoft Office TemplatesLinks to an external site. (Word and/or PowerPoint)
- VENNGAGELinks to an external site. (requires a user profile)
- TemplateLABLinks to an external site.
Select a template and color scheme and start plugging in your data points and images. Your submission this week is a rough draft of your final fact sheet, so it does not need to be perfect. Please be sure to include citations for your work as a separate page from the fact sheet (totaling a 2-page document upload). The citations page should be formatted using APA standards. MS Word or PowerPoint are the only acceptable document for credit. PDF and all other formats submitted will not be graded and will result in a 0 grade.
