PART A
In your summative assessment, you will create an organizational job application sketch of what qualities, characteristics, skills, and experience are needed for a new leader. You will provide this in the form of a video, eBook, or Job Description for LinkedIn.
Here are the main points you will need to consider:
1. What qualifications is your organization looking for in their leader?
2. What training and education are required for application?
3. What leadership approaches, theories, or styles will be sought after in the leader applicant and why?
4. What are the job expectations and responsibilities?
5. What are the current strengths and challenges of this position in your organization?
You are given three options to choose from to complete your summative artifact. You will only choose ONE assignment from the following.

Create an eBook ad for this job position for your next leader
Your eBook ad will include sufficient pages (10 or more) with graphics and design of information with the job specifications answers all the questions post in the task: qualifications, training and education requirements, leadership approaches/theories sought after, job expectations and responsibilities, strengths and challenges of the position.
Document Type/Template:
- An eBook (10 or more pages) using eBook tips with graphics.
- Include citations from scholarly sources.
- APA formatting is required.
PART B
In your summative assessment, you will create a 1-year growth model plan of the training needs of your team members for their assignments and the tech tools needed to implement their responsibilities. You would include the following:
1. Key points of growth for your organizational team over the next year.
2. Any SEL training needed to keep your team prepared and emotionally ready for their challenges.
3. Outlining key needs to to get the team ready to execute all new initiatives and processes for your organization to be successful.
4. Highlighting all new initiatives, technology initiatives, or other goals and objectives of the organization.
5. Show clear path for moving the organization forward in growth, effective training of team, and modern technologies trained and implemented for your team.
You will present a fully developed growth plan as your summative artifact. Make sure to detail why each of your components are important for the success of your organization. Use sufficient research to validate your work.
You are given three options to choose from to complete your summative artifact. Depending on your choice for the assignment, you will submit ONE of the following. You will find the Doctoral Tips have resources that may be helpful as you create your artifact. We also encourage you to conduct your own research when preparing your artifact.

Create a Professional Presentation outlining 1-year growth plan for your team.
Professional Presentation – 8-10 slides (Narrative Notes or 8-10 minute narration). This presentation should include your growth plan for your team with needed training and technology tool planning and training. Be sure to include SEL, initiatives and processes, training needed, tech tools to implement, and a clear path of growth projected for your team.
Document Type/Template:
- A professional presentation with 8-10 slides; 8-10 minutes if narration is provided; otherwise, detailed notes for the presenter are also needed with slides.
- Your submission must include 2 or more citations from scholarly sources.
- Your submission must follow current APA guidelines.
