Multi-tiered System of Supports (MTSS)

Overview

Psychology of Exceptional Children Class Assignment Overview

Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) can feel like a lot of acronyms and terms bundled together. Educators often hear words like RTI, PBIS, Tier 1, Tier 2, Progress monitoring, and more. But what do these terms mean and how do they work together to support students? In this assignment you will explore the different parts of MTSS and show how they function together as a schoolwide system of support.

Instead of writing a traditional paper, you will create a presentation that could be used to teach educators, families, or school teams about MTSS in a clear and engaging way.
