Prompt: The licensing of healthcare professionals and institutions is an important function of state law. One recent controversy related to licensing of healthcare providers involves expanding scope of practice for advanced practice providers to allow for increased authority and autonomy in directing patient care.

Write a well reasoned argument advocating for or against expanding the scope of practice for advanced practice nurses in comparison to licensed physicians. In your argument, be sure to clearly state which side you are advocating for and address issues related to healthcare quality and access in your argument.
