Topic: Pearl Harbor address to the Nation, Franklin D. Roosevelt.
The student will analyze a famous speech. The student will submit the analysis in an APA formatted WORD document. The submission should include a title and reference page and one page of content. Your Instructor will provide information on the assignment criteri and the analysis of the speech objectives in paragraph format. Do not just submit answer to these questions.
NOTE: Students must obtain approval for the topic of the speech with their Instructor prior to starting the assignment.
Important things to analyze are as follows:
1. Where and when is the speech being delivered?
2. What is the speakers goal? For example: is it to educate, motivate, persuade, entertain?
3. Did the speaker connect with the audience?
4. What are the key demographic features of the audience? For example: student, athletes, business leaders?
5. Were visual aids used? If so, were they effective in order to help convey the message of the speech?
