Assignment 2 – Leadership Styles and Ethics (15%) (Objective 2) Research and review several models of leadership styles. You will find that authors label them differently (similar to the way they assign different names to various learning styles). After this review, select one model of leadership styles that you like. Think about how Covey’s concept of principle-centered leadership relates to the model you selected. How do ethics and following one’s moral compass impact leadership styles? Within your paper, you should include: a summative description of the leadership styles model of your choice; the relationship of that model to Covey’s principle-centered model; the importance of ethics in leadership styles; and a description of how you envision your own leadership style. Include: your concept of vision and why you think it is important; how/why communication is important in the creation of a vision and working toward its reality. Be sure to read and draw from the articles in the Week 3 Lecture as well as Covey’s thoughts about shared vision and communication to support your positions. Briefly, give an example of a managerial issue and how it was resolved in your work place (you may alter or omit names if you like). Why do you think there was an e fective or ine fective resolution based on the outcome of your example? Would you have handled this dilemma in the same way? Assignment 5 - Leadership Interview and Organizational Analysis(15%) (Objective 5)This assignment has two parts – Part 1 is the Leadership Interview (described below) andPart 2 is Organizational Analysis (described below).
