What we have done in the past that can serve as a good example of complying with section 1.4 of the ACM Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct1. One example from my experience is when I worked on a website project for class. I tried to make the website simple and easy for everyone to use. I also paid attention to making the information clear and accessible to different users. I think this follows ACM Code 1.4 because technology should be fair, inclusive, and accessible to everyone.

How a student like me should perform in school in order to comply with ACM section 1.41. As an IT student, I can follow ACM Code 1.4 by treating all students fairly and with respect. When working on class projects, I should make sure everyone has the same opportunity to participate and share their ideas. I should also avoid discrimination or bullying and respect people even if they have different backgrounds or opinions.

1. I think an unprofessional employee may often be late, miss deadlines, have poor communication, and not take responsibility for their work. They may also disrespect coworkers or have a negative attitude at work. A professional employee should be responsible, respectful, reliable, and communicate well with others.
2. A breach of contract happens when someone does not follow one of the terms of a contract. A material breach is more serious because it affects the main purpose of the agreement. For example, if a company agrees to complete an IT project by Friday but delivers it on Monday, this could be a breach of contract. However, if the project is complete and the short delay does not cause serious problems for the client, it may not be a material breach.
3. I do not think companies should automatically give preference to qualified U.S. candidates over qualified candidates from foreign countries. I think they should choose the person who has the best skills, experience, and qualifications for the position. In IT, people from different countries can also bring different experiences and ideas to a company. The hiring process should be fair and based on a person's ability to do the job rather than where they are from.
