Weekly Practicum Journal Guidelines
The weekly practicum journal is designed to promote reflective practice and document your progressive growth throughout the practicum experience. Each submission should demonstrate your ability to connect practicum experiences to course learning outcomes, your Capstone project, and the AACN Essentials.
General Expectations
* Submit journals weekly, written in a professional and scholarly tone.
* Include a minimum of three well-developed paragraphs (approximately 250-500 words).
* Incorporate specific examples from your practicum experiences.
* Reflect critically using the reflective cycle: describe, evaluate, analyze, draw conclusions, and propose actions.
* Where applicable, link reflections to relevant AACN Essentials and your Capstone project focus.
