Overview
Back when my students would meet in person for dinosaur classes a colleague at COC created an assignment where our students would make their own Ichnofossil (Trace Fossil) out of playdoh. I adopted it for my classes and it was one of our favorite assignments and one that I was sad to lose when we went virtual. But because of how fun it is and because it possibly involves some cost to you (if you don't have playdoh or modeling clay) I decided to make it an extra credit assignment for all of you. This can be as creative as you want to make it. If you want to use modeling clay, you can paint it, and fire it up and create your own sculpture
