1. Define: Isotonic, Hypertonic and Hypotonic solutions. Then describe how both 1)Elodea cells, and 2)Red Blood cells would respond if they were placed in each of these three solutions.
2. Enzyme activity is influenced by, temperature, pH and concentration (of both enzyme and substrate) Explain how these conditions affected the activity of catalase in our Laboratory. Be sure to include a treatment of enzyme active sites and denatured enzymes.
3. Compare and contrast Mitosis and Meiosis. Be sure to include an explanation of what these 2 processes accomplish.
