The Development of Darwin's Theory provides many examples of Darwin revising his understanding of evolution in light of having read something. Explain some of the effects on Darwin's thinking that occurred as a result of reading Malthus and reading Milne Edwards.
To do this, you will need to accomplish three tasks:
(1) describe Darwin's thinking before the reading;
(2) describe Darwin's thinking after the reading;
(3) explain how the reading produced the change from (1) to (2).
