Overview
Your topic of interest can be anything related to biology, but ideally, it should be narrow enough that you can explore it within 3 weeks. For example do not choose "cancer" as that is too broad. Many diseases/conditions are appropriate, but please do not choose behavioral or psychological conditions (for ex. alcoholism, drug addiction, autism, schizophrenia). While they often have genetic and environmental factors involved, they are outside the scope of this class.
Consider topics of interest in your daily life (exercise, marine life, nature, wildlife, nutrition, gardening) or in the news (probiotics, CRISPR, superbugs, coronavirus etc.). If in doubt, email me!
