Submit Four Graphs Here

INSTRUCTIONS

You should submit a single file containing all four graphs. The graphs need to be produced using either Word or a spreadsheet program. No hand-drawn graphs. Create four separate graphs based on the data obtained from Canvas. Remember graphs are data summarizations. Do not graph the data of individuals. Focus on the group data and averages.

For the line graphs (graphs 1, 2, and 3), the x axis is time. For the bar graph (graph 4), the x axis is the two water-loading groups (500ml and 1000 milliliter). Use the dependent variable as your y axis for each graph. The dependent variables of the graphs are: Graph 1: specific gravity (no units), Graph 2: cumulative urine volume (ml), Graph 3: urine production rate (ml/minute), and Graph 4: percent return (%).

    1. Specific Gravity vs. Time (line graph: use data for all groups)
    2. Cumulative Urine Volume vs. Time (cumulative line graph: use data for all groups) Note: you will have to add the urine volumes together to obtain the cumulative volume (e.g. the cumulative volume at 60 minutes would be the sum of the individual volumes at 20 minutes + 40 minutes + 60 minutes)
    3. Urine Production Rate vs. Time (line graph: use data for all groups)
    4. % return (bar graph: only use data for 500 ml and 1000 ml water loading groups)
  • On each graph use the data from the data table. (See Canvas)
  • Add a title to each graph
  • Provide a legend for your graph
  • Make sure you label your axes with the correct units (i.e. “Time (minutes)”, “Urine volume (ml)” and “Urine Production Rate (ml/minute).” (Note: Specific gravity has no units)

Write a separate one paragraph summary for each of the four graphs.
