Biology Question

Overview

CLO 3 : Identify and describe the major gross and microscopic anatomical components of the muscular system and explain their functional roles in body movement, maintenance of posture, and heat production.

Discussion :

  • The muscular system plays an important role in homeostasis of body temperature. In your initial post, discuss the major gross and microscopic muscular anatomy involved in thermoregulation, including:
    • Skeletal muscle structure (fascicles, myofibrils, myofilaments)
    • Smooth muscle (viscera, blood vessels)
    • Neuromuscular junction
Here are some prompts to consider while posting on this discussion forum : Explain how these anatomical structures contribute to heat production during exercise/shivering and temperature regulation through vasoconstriction/dilation. Discuss the homeostatic mechanisms that detect changes in temperature and trigger muscular responses.Compare and contrast the roles of skeletal and smooth muscle anatomy in maintaining temperature homeostasis. Refer to your textbook reading and engage with your classmates on their discussion post. This discussion encourages you to relate muscular system anatomy to its roles in thermoregulation for homeostasis

for the paper all you have to do is talk about a video that im goint to link here and just talk about that. first one :

and heres the second one:
