For your final project, you will write a short paper on the most interesting endocrine advances related to obesity and metabolic syndrome.
To search for articles,
Go online to pubmed central. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov › NCBI › Literature
type a word or phrase of interest. For example: iodine deficiency in pregnancy.
Look at the articles that turn up.
Be able to pull up review articles by clicking on the appropriate selection on the right panel.
See which articles are available for free download (they are listed as free PMC articles)
See if you can download a few relevant articles to help you write the review.
Please cite references using Endnote. A free version is available for download from the UGA libraries.
Upload your final project in the "Final Project" Folder found at the bottom of the Discussions page.
