Overview
- Determine the audience you will be addressing.
- Audiences can be your family, peers, church congregation, legislators, kindergarten class, etc. Any group that you might enjoy talking to about these topics.
- In your assignment, answer the following questions in your chosen creative way:
- How does this human microbiome relate to ecology and disease?
- For ecology, how do these organisms interact with us and with each other as well as resources?
- For disease, how can these organisms either promote or prevent disease in humans?
- Use the following resources when answering the above questions:
- Use either The Body: A Guide for Occupants or I Contain Multitudes and at least 2 of the readings/videos provided (links to videos in attached document).
- Use at least 1 peer-reviewed resource along with the reading resource.
- Include either in-text citations or quote them depending on what works best for your creative assignment.
- For example, in a podcast, you would state somewhere during it that "In his book, I Contain Multitudes, Ed Yong states...."
- Include a works cited page but this can be a separate document, especially if you are doing something like a podcast.
