The goal of this question is to explain what happens to the cardiac cycle during exercise. To do this, begin with the nerves involved in stimulating the heart. Be specific with the names of the nerves, neurotransmitters involved, and how very specifically they stimulate cells of the heart. Follow that stimulation through the heart and as the stimulation reaches each section of the heart, make sure to talk about not only what the chambers of the heart are doing at each stage of stimulation but also what the valves are doing (or not doing) and where blood is flowing. Additionally, talk about how cardiac cells are stimulated to depolarize and how that gets spread from cell to cell.wor
During quiet breathing, trace the pathway for oxygen from atmospheric air, starting with how it, along with air, gets into the lungs, how it gets transferred to and then transported in the blood, and how it moves from blood to tissues. You ate a plate of whole wheat pasta with olive oil and Parmesan cheese. Follow the processing (chemical and mechanical digestion, movement, and absorption) of this food from Mouth through Anus. Be sure to discuss what occurs to each food type (just proteins, carbohydrates and lipids) at each area of the digestive tract. Include processes that occur, chemicals or enzymes that are present. Include how this food moves through the different parts of the GI tract.
Discuss together the Uterine cycle and the Ovarian cycle. Match the events together starting with Day 1 of the Ovarian Cycle. Be sure to coordinate the events for each and what is occurring at the same day (or day range). Make sure that you also include hormonal control which influences BOTH of these cycles. Be sure to emphasize how they are related. In other words, make sure to discuss how one thing affects another. DO NOT list all the steps of one cycle first then all of the steps for the other.
