Current and Future Trends in Mental Health and Biology
For your research paper, identify a mental health issue and discuss newly found research conducted on that topic related to treatment options that show implications for positive outcomes.
For example - in ADHD, you find research on how group counseling has become successful for adult males who are dealing with this issue (I do not know this to be true, I am just providing an example).
For example - Dementia - new research has found that those who began to eat a specific food are showing early signs of dementia to better assist individuals with treatment and care.
Please be advised that the paper is due on Sunday, 6.15.2025 in week 7.
In your paper, you should include yet not be limited by the following:
- Mental health disorder - You should be citing the DSM 5 here
- The part of the brain and/or anatomy that are influenced or connected to this mental health disorder
- Discuss the history of treatment - successful and unsuccessful treatment options. You can discuss more than one treatment option if it applies, however, you must discuss at least one.
- Current research and new treatment options - any successful trials or ongoing research needed to be explored.
- Discuss any ethical and multicultural considerations from the research that can assist with future research. Try to be specific in this area.
This is a formal paper and must be written using APA 7th ed style and formatting. There is no need for an abstract. There is no need for the conclusion to be on a separate page.
Your paper should include:
- title page -
- the title of the paper, name, course, school affiliation, professor name
- double-spaced (entire paper)
- in-text citations
- reference section
- A total of 7 pages (no more than 7 pages, points deducted for pages beyond 7)
- Minimum of 5-6 references (not older than 2019)
- Avoid Plagiarism (taking credit for a work you did not do).
- No more than 25% match will be accepted.
- Be sure to proofread before submitting.
- Label the paper as follows:
