This is a different type of homework assignment.
The link provided below will take you to a website by Bioman Biology with a game that teaches/tests you on the composition of the plasma membrane and the different methods of transport across the membrane. The "game" consists of 5 "challenges": Build a Membrane, Membrane Structure Challenge, Diffusion Challenge, Energy and Transport Challenge, and Osmosis Challenge. Start at the first one and work your way through all of them. It is an excellent review of the material in the Transport Across Membranes Video. Watch the lecture video first and then play the game.
As noted above, the game has multiple parts or challenges; at the end of all of them, you have an option to type in your name and then take a screenshot which you can then submit to me for the homework points. You will see the option entitled "Go to Scoresheet" to take you there. Make sure you type your name in. Once you take the screenshot (or alternately, snap a photo of it with your phone), you can submit either a jpg if a photo or paste the image into a document that you save as a Microsoft Word document or PDF to submit. I will be looking at whether you completed all the challenges and how well you scored, both of which are provided on the sheet. (Do NOT try to submit your score online - that will NOT work.) So, your score on the game affects your grade; the higher the score, the higher your grade.

If you have problems with the game:
A few people have reported problems with the game - glitches that didn't allow them to complete it. If you can use it, it is both a better introduction to the topic, faster to complete, and an easier way to earn a high score. However, if it is not working for you (I suggest using Google Chrome), then here is an alternate assignment you can do.
