Report
The report is worth 25% of your overall assessment grade. For each specimen, please provide the following information:
Which resource(s) did you use to identify your specimen? These can include published keys, iNaturalist or other identification apps, field guides, etc.
Provide the main defining features you used to identify your specimen. If you used an app such as iNaturalist, state which features you used to confirm the identification.
Justify why you chose to identify your specimen to a particular taxonomic level (eg. “I chose to identify to genus because there are no species-level keys for this genus” or “I chose to identify to Family because Genus level identification required dissections”)
Describe the ecology of the species (e.g what does it eat, what is its life cycle, is it native/endemic/exotic to Australia, when is it active, what habitat is it found in?). This answer should be no more than 250 words long.
Provide the iNaturalist URL for your specimen
