Lab Circulatory System

Purpose

• Identify components of mammalian circulatory system
• This lab supports Module Outcomes
  • MO4.10 Label the path of blood through the heart and pulmonary and systemic circulatory pathways (CO2)

Skills

• View and take notes from select videos
• Apply the information learned

Knowledge

• Name the four chambers of a mammalian heart
• Name the four valves of the mammalian heart
• Name the major arteries and veins associated with the mammalian heart
• Trace the path of blood through a mammal’s heart and body

Task

• There are two activities in this lab to complete. You should progress in order as the information builds upon the previous activities.

Criteria for Success

• The completed assignment will be uploaded to the Assignment Dropbox titled Lab Circulatory System by 11:59pm on the due date.
• This activity counts as 100 points in Lab Activities grade.
