Overview

1. Pick one of the following media sources:

• www.cbc.ca
• www.ctvnews.ca
• www.globalnews.ca
• https://www.newsweek.com/
• https://www.msnbc.com/
• www.cnn.com
  
  2. Log on to your chosen web site and search for titles, concepts, themes, etc. that connect to what has been addressed in the course thus far and record how many ‘Results’ you get.
  3. Pick four of the 2025 results of your search and create a Media Analysis that relates to “Business and Government” or some variation.
  4. Each Assignment is to include:
  • Four articles that each relate to a specific title, concept, theme, etc. covered in PSCI 241. Note: they cannot be about the same title, concept, theme, etc.
  • A separate Executive Summary
    • At least a full page in length that provides an overview of your Media Analysis by summarizing its key points.
  • A review of each individual article.
    • Full-page in length that includes:
      • A succinct summary of the article - no more than a quarter of a page in length.
      • An explanation / analysis that captures how the thrust of the article relates to the course material of PSCI 241- at least three quarters of a page in length for each individual article.
  • A Conclusion
    • At least a full-page in length that summarizes what you learned from this Assignment.
    • I have uploaded the example assigment that our teacher has given us as well for you to go off of.
