Overview
The project is expected to be single-spaced and using a sans serif font (e.g., Arial). It needs to follow ALL the project criteria as explained in the Assignment Outline below.
You need to find one specific business to work with through all three projects in this course since each project builds toward the next. This will prevent you from having to start researching from scratch for each project. Each project will still require you to research and build the financial data and information you need.
You need to use the project you developed in MBA 630 Marketing Management (the marketing plan). That way, you can draw a lot of the information from your prior work and expand on the financial section in this course and that you will be using in MBA 679 Business Plan & Launch (the capstone course).
Content: You can use bullet points where appropriate and short statement sentences, but be sure to provide context, background information, and explanations where necessary. No need for long prose or narrative for this project other than for background context and explanations. Not more than 3-4 pages for Sections 1-5, and about 7-8 pages for the entire assignment.
If you have not taken MBA 630 Marketing Management, then use your own business, your specific idea for a business (or even a product or service), a friend's business, a client's business, or the business/organization for which you work. It can be a for-profit enterprise or a not-for-profit organization. It will help if you have access to information about the business and its operations/processes. That's where knowing the owners/operators of the business can be of strategic importance to you. The smaller the business, the easier it is for you to access information. Avoid using large corporations.
Format: You need to invest the time to format this as a professionally prepared and visually appealing financial proposal. In addition to the financial spreadsheets you will be preparing, you can also use other visual images which best communicate the content of this project.
Minor Project 1 should have the following headings. DO NOT leave any of the headings/sections out of your document. You can create as many subheadings under each primary heading as you want:
- Cover Page with the Name of the Business Organization
- Table of Contents (Using the Word TOC Command)
- Executive Summary
- Introduction
Company History, Purpose, Mission, Vision
Brief Product/Service Description - a description of the firm, along with its products and/or services(Chapter 2)

Appendices (if any)
NOTE: Failure to submit Minor Project 1 will result in an overall score of 0 for Minor Project 1 and will prevent the professor from submitting a passing grade for this course. Also, If you completed MBA 630, do not simply copy and paste your entire plan. Instead, selectively use the relevant sections that align with the requirements of this assignment.
I have attached files from a business plan. Use the attachments as a reference and guide for this project.
