BUSN 5340-321 Human Resources Management

Overview

Exploration essay assignments are essay-style papers. The conventional form of essay writing (introduction, body, and conclusion) will be required on these assignments. You will use the Exploration Essay template to complete the assignment. The template is already set up to include a cover page, generic headers to correspond with the assignment questions, and a reference page. The template is only a template meaning you will have to replace generic information on the template with your information, and you will have to remove any explanatory language on the template. Each exploration essay assignment will have three questions. You will need to replace the generic headers in the paper with specific headers that correspond to the questions (usually 3-5 words) but do not include the full question. You will need to cite specific facts, ideas, concepts, theories, etc. in your responses. In other words, support your responses with source information rather than only providing your personal opinion. You will need to use the course textbook as a primary source and also conduct some additional research on the relevant concepts via the online library databases. Essays must be 4-5 pages in length (excluding cover & reference page) and will require the Ivancevich and Konopaske (2013) book plus 2 scholarly, peer-reviewed sources from the library databases.
