In Week 5, you discussed how social change affects institutions, social relations, and individuals. Consider now how research is conducted in the current practice of sociology. What are the different methods used? What are the social impacts of research? In other words, how does social research affect change? Discuss how your current or future career might be impacted by social research. All in all, how can individuals ultimately impact organizations, institutions, and societies?
NOTE: This is a journal, so you may give your thoughts and opinions on the topic and can write in first-person perspective. However, be sure to back up your opinions with factual information. Include references to course materials and other academic sources.
