Proverbs 2:6 teaches that wisdom, knowledge, and understanding ultimately come from God. After completing the assigned readings, explain how this principle applies to the use of AI in Human Resources.
Select one specific HR function discussed in the articles such as recruiting, training and development, performance management, or employee engagement. Using at least one properly cited reference from the readings, explain how AI can support better decision making while still requiring human discernment, ethical judgment, and accountability.
Finally, describe one practical action you would take as a leader to ensure AI is used as a tool for insight and efficiency rather than a substitute for wisdom, fairness, or responsibility.

Chapter 11: Establishing Strategic Pay Plans (pp. 338–377)
Chapter 12: Pay for Performance and Financial Incentives (pp. 378–408)
Proverbs 2:6 teaches that wisdom, knowledge, and understanding come from the Lord. After reading Chapters 11 and 12, explain how this principle should guide compensation decisions that affect motivation, equity, and organizational trust.
Select one compensation practice discussed in the readings such as base pay structures, merit pay, bonuses, incentives, or performance based rewards. Using at least one properly cited reference from the textbook, analyze how poorly designed pay systems can unintentionally create unfairness, unhealthy competition, or misaligned behavior. Then move to application.
Describe one compensation practice or safeguard you would implement as a leader to ensure pay decisions reflect wisdom, transparency, and alignment with organizational goals while still rewarding performance and results.
