Overview

For this assignment you will use data to create a regression model to do prediction. For this assignment you will:

1. Complete Data Analysis:
   1. Use the Excel dataset “Homeless_Count.xls” that shows the results of homeless surveys in 69 urban locations in the US in 2008/2009.
2. Complete a Regression Model:
   1. Create a regression model to predict homelessness.

      3. Supporting Resource: Regression Analysis Resources
3. Write a Regression Model Rationale:
   1. Provide your best result along with the justification of the model.
      1. Please note that your regression model should take into consideration all key assumptions of a regression model, including normal distribution of the error terms, lack of multicollinearity, etc.
4. Transform and/or Combine Variables:
   1. You can transform the variables or combine some variables to improve your results. Be creative.
5. Write an Interpretation:
   1. Interpret your results and provide a summary of key findings with supporting materials.
