Major Issue in the Paper
1. Methodology Contradiction (Qualitative vs Quantitative)
In the paper you state that the study is qualitative, but later you introduce quantitative elements such as:
- Hypotheses testing
- Survey design
- Likert scale
- Quantitative research design
For example, the paper states:
“Although this research adopts a qualitative approach…”
and later:
“To align with the hypotheses, this research will adopt quantitative research design.”
This creates a methodological inconsistency.
Why is this a problem?
A study should normally follow one clear methodology:
- Qualitative research → interviews, focus groups, thematic analysis
or - Quantitative research → surveys, statistical analysis, Likert scales
Mixing them this way makes the methodology unclear. I need my research to be quantitative research
