Overview
For your final Leadership in Practice synthesis in Week 10, you will select one of the following pathways:
Track A – Organizational Leadership Interview Track B – Real-World Leadership Case Analysis Track C – Strategic Leadership Simulation
📌 Each pathway is outlined individually below in the weekly folder to provide clear guidance and resources for that specific option.
This week, you will submit a 1.5–page strategic design document outlining your selected pathway and your intentional approach.
This is not your final analysis. It is the strategic foundation for your culminating leadership synthesis.
Submission Requirements
- Length: 1.5 pages. This is a focused strategic design document — not a full analysis.
- Pathway Identification: Clearly identify the leadership pathway you selected.
- Professional Tone: Write in a clear, professional academic style appropriate for graduate-level work.
- Theoretical Grounding: When referencing leadership theories or concepts from course readings, include appropriate APA in-text citations to reinforce and support your explanation.
- Submission: Upload your document through the 9.1 Assignment link.
This strategic design document serves as the foundation for your Week 10 Leadership in Practice synthesis — where theory, research, and real-world leadership influence converge in a meaningful and transformative way.
Strategic Extension: Expanding Your Leadership Lens (referenced above)
As you design your leadership exploration, remember that the foundational frameworks from Weeks 1–4 provide your primary theoretical grounding. Depending on your selected pathway, you may also choose to draw from additional chapters in the text that explore contemporary and strategic dimensions of leadership.
These include:
Diversity and inclusive leadership dynamics (Chapter 9) • Global leadership perspectives (Chapter 10) • Inspirational and visionary leadership (Chapter 11) • Strategic leadership and organizational culture (Chapter 12) • Leading organizational change (Chapter 13)
These chapters are not required reading for this week. Rather, they serve as strategic extensions — offering expanded insight for students who wish to deepen their analysis or apply a broader leadership lens in Week 10.
Leadership is layered. Foundational theory provides structure; strategic frameworks provide depth. You are encouraged to select the lens that best supports your intentional, meaningful, and visionary leadership synthesis.
