Module 6 Assignment Description
Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least three (3) sources in your presentation. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.
Respond to the following prompts:
- Identify the factors that should be considered when deciding between developing solutions or providing services in-house versus sourcing. Include in your comments at least three challenges associated with outsourcing.
- Explain what is meant by “the cloud”. Identify and describe methods for implementing the cloud as part of a company sourcing strategy.
- Explain the difference between the waterfall method and object-oriented analysis and design. Provide at least one example of how you would employ each as well as the factors associated with your decision to use them.
- Describe what is meant by project management and explain how it relates to systems development methodologies. Determine if project management practices could be used together with system development methodologies, provide your suggestion, and as well, propose a specific example.
The following specifications are required for this assignment:
- Length: 15-17 slides; answers must thoroughly address the questions in a clear, concise manner
- Structure:
- Title slide and reference slides in APA style. (at least 2 slides)
- Developing/ Inhouse: at least 3 slides
- The Cloud: at least 2 slides
- Waterfall & Object Oriented: at least 5 slides
- Project Management: at least 3 slides
- Additionally, because a good presentation has few words on the slides include a script with the verbiage you would say when presenting; the script should be a minimum of 50 words per slide.
- References: Use the appropriate APA style in-text citations and references for all resources utilized to answer the questions. Include at least three (3) scholarly sources to support your claims.
