Overview
Write your paper in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) unless another Microsoft product, or pdf, is specified in the task directions. Tasks may not be submitted as cloud links, such as links to Google Docs, Google Slides, OneDrive, etc. All supporting documentation, such as screenshots and proof of experience, should be collected in a pdf file and submitted separately from the main file. Choose one of the three given scenarios and apply your leadership skills by doing the following:
A. Describe two emotional intelligence (EI) principles that could be applied to your chosen scenario.
1. Explain why strong EI skills are important for a leader to manage teams effectively.
B. Describe how you would use supportive communication to address the workplace conflict in your chosen scenario.
C. Discuss which leadership style would be most effective in your chosen scenario by doing the following:
1. Describe one of the following leadership styles:
2. Explain how the leadership style chosen in part C1 could resolve the workplace conflict in your chosen scenario A.
D. Determine whether you would use either a people-centered or a task-oriented approach to leadership in the chosen scenario by doing the following:
1. Describe how your approach to leadership could affect team performance and morale.
2. Explain why one of the two approaches to leadership is most appropriate for your chosen scenario.
E. Acknowledge sources, using in-text citations and references, for content that is quoted, paraphrased, or summarized.
F. Demonstrate professional communication in the content and presentation of your submission.
