Scenario
You are a business analyst working at a company that produces cell phones. It is a large, top-earning cell phone producer. Your company’s sales have recently become flat in the domes!c cell phone industry. While the company is not losing money, leadership would like to explore options to break the trend. Leadership has noticed compe!tors entering interna!onal markets. They have asked you to put together a business brief on considerations for business globalization as they look at entering international!onal technology markets. Your supervisor suggests using Saudi Arabia as an example.
Directions
Prepare a business brief to address the scenario. Focus on the cell phone industry using Saudi Arabia as an example target foreign market. See the resources in the Support!ng Materials sec! on below. Consider key benefits to a company when entering foreign markets. When an expanding company considers business impacts, it’s important to look at a foreign market’s culture and related sectors of its society. Consider this as you develop your brief.
