Overview
This Doctor is so strict for this work,
You will be required to complete a prospectus detailing the project that you intend to complete. The prospectus should include the following elements:
1. An abstract that summarizes the overall scope of your project.
2. A detailed outline and timeline of all parts to be completed.
3. 10-15 sources that you will use. (This Doctor is so strict for this work,) I have to read and present each research part so each source can not be general; it must connect. ( they have to be NYU, NY STATE BASED FACTS EVIDENCE, FORE COLLEGE STIDENTS ALL ON TOPIC I HAVE TO TURN THIS INTO A SLIDES AND TALK ABOUT ALL 15 IN DETAIL ) SO PLEASE HELP ME SOURCE VERY GOOD RESEARCH CANT BE SERFACE LEVEL. IT MUST ALL CONNECT I NEED FULL LINKS.
THIS IS MY ABSTRACT:
ProspectusProject Title: Cafés, Study Spaces, and Educational Inequality in New York City Student: Danielle Jones Course: Standard Research Project Institution: New York University
AbstractThis project examines how access to dedicated study spaces including cafés, public libraries, university learning centers, and community-based “third places” shapes student academic outcomes and long-term neighborhood development in under-resourced New York City communities. The study investigates how the absence of quiet, clean, and reliable study environments in boroughs such as the Bronx, Queens, and parts of Brooklyn forces students to travel long distances or spend money they often cannot afford, reinforcing existing patterns of educational inequality. Drawing on research about neighborhood resource gaps, school funding disparities, and spatial barriers to learning, the project analyzes how limited access to study spaces contributes to lower academic performance, reduced college readiness, and heightened stress among high school and undergraduate students.
At the same time, the project explores how educational infrastructure and economic infrastructure are interdependent: neighborhoods lacking stable study spaces struggle to attract businesses, retain young talent, or sustain local commercial corridors. By treating study spaces as both academic supports and economic anchors, the project argues that equitable access to study environments is essential for educational mobility and neighborhood stability. Ultimately, this research demonstrates that improving study-space access in under-resourced boroughs is a scalable intervention with the potential to narrow achievement gaps while strengthening local economic ecosystems.
HE GAVE US A DOCUMENT OF AN EXAMPLE (IT SHOWS AN ABSTRACT PROBLEM STATEMENT, RESEARCH OBJECTIVES, LITERATURE REVIEWS, METHODOLOGY, AND A CONCLUSION). I WOULD LIKE THIS ALONG WITH THE ( PART 1 2 AND 3 HES REQUESTING ABOVE )
