Overview
Reflective Leadership Plan: write a 1,500 to 1,750 word paper translating your course learning into a personal leadership development plan. Your plan should define a strategy for maximizing your leadership, and should include the following components:
- Your leadership strengths and weaknesses and what you will do to capitalize on your strengths and modify your weaknesses to improve your leadership behavior. Make sure to support your discussion of strength and weaknesses with your ‘leadership style’ assessments (https://www.verywellmind.com/whats-your-leadership-style-3866929); (https://idealistcareers.org/quiz-leadership-style/); (https://testyourself.psychtests.com/testid/2152)
- What gaps exist between the leader you are now and the leader you want to become?
- Detailed action items you will realistically implement to close gaps between the leader you are now and the leader you would like to become.
- All action items should be SMART: specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and time bound.
- Include a realistic implementation timeline for each action item on our plan.
- In addition, have a discussion on how you will actually use your plan to impact your leadership.
- Furthermore, discuss how you will assesses and modify your plan to ensure you are on track
Consider your plan not just a paper to satisfy course requirements, but a living, working document. Provide appropriate peer-reviewed literature to support your judgments, assertions and conclusions as well as assessment evaluations
