Business Question

Purpose

Results-based accountability is used by organizations in various industry types such as business, academia, and healthcare. This assignment is meant to explore its basic elements and the approach different organizations use when applying frameworks. You will gain a deeper understanding of frameworks by making comparisons between the results-based accountability model, or RBA, business excellence and quintuple aims based upon an article or case study that interests you.

Tasks

  1. Find an article or case study that focuses on a real-life business scenario involving the decision-making or problem-solving process. The article or case study must not be one previously used in this course for a discussion, assignment, or learning resource. Find an article or case study published in the past 3 years, using well-known media resources such as The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, New York Times, etc. from the UMGC library or UMGC Online Library Research Assistant.
  2. Based upon your article or case study, write an essay that includes the following:
    • Propose how quintuple aim and the results-based accountability framework can be used in a real-life business scenario within the article or case study involving decision-making or problem-solving.
    • Explain how quintuple aim and the results-based accountability framework are used in the decision-making or problem-solving process within the article or case study.
    • Apply decision-making or problem-solving to quintuple aim and the results-based accountability framework in a real-life business-related scenario given within the article or case study.
    • Evaluate how quintuple aim and the results-based accountability framework can be used in the decision-making or problem-solving process within a real-life business-related scenario according to the article or case study.
    • End with a conclusion/summary of your findings. Include a reference cited page with all sources in full text citations.
