Purpose
In this assignment, you will analyze cultural competency within educational policy by incorporating the decision-making process and DEI. To do this, you will examine a case study in the education sector alongside cultural backgrounds, languages, and socioeconomic statuses that must be assessed in policy development to ensure equitable academic outcomes and resource accessibility for all students. Through this case study, you will identify gaps in current policies, propose inclusive strategies, and develop actionable recommendations that foster a more culturally competent educational environment. This will also foster the skills necessary to advocate for and implement policies that reflect the diverse needs within an organization.
