Develop a thesis statement and make an argument related to the fields of organizational culture, behavior, and change. Excellent essays look at particular theories, models, or constructs from the history of organizational science and seek to clarify, question, and synthesize past research into a revised or novel concept. Excellent essays will leverage the core readings int he program yet ought to move further and deeper than these course texts. Engage the seminal and emergent literature in such a way that attends to the current state of research and explores further avenues for research. Develop a bibliography that explores the necessary concepts and history, plan the essay, write and submit. Once the student and chair have reviewed the essay, upload the essay to Canvas and submit to CLO.
Your essays will be submitted prior to scheduling your comprehensive examination. Your essays will be reviewed by both your dissertation chair and two additional faculty readers. These three faculty are your "comprehensive examination committee."
