Barriers to Effective Communication
Watch the following video: 10 Barriers to Effective CommunicationLinks to an external site. Submit a 5- to-7 slide PowerPoint presentation that includes the following:
- The reasons why you believe it is important to analyze/define the purpose of a communication carefully and to understand your audience (recipient) before writing a message.
- Select two of the communication barriers discussed in the video you have experienced. For each selection, describe the experience and what could have been done differently to ensure effective communication.
Format
- Your presentation should be in the current APA Style, with both a title slide and a reference list slide that includes all sources used. At least 2 scholarly sources should be used (your textbook can be one of the sources).
