Watch the Top 10 Business Mergers & Acquisitions and the Top 10 Disastrous Mergers & Acquisitions videos (located in Course Resources and links provided below) and summarize the following:
- Address at least 3 common elements that were present in each respective category
- Provide your rationale for why a merger that appeared “doomed from the start” was still pursued and completed.
- How much did the financial condition of the respective companies play in either their success or failure?
- How much did investment banks and other entities that focus on the process
- Evaluate the outcome of the M&A.
