In order to acquire the required competencies from this SLO, students must read the following assigned texts:
Lawrence Wolper, Ch. 15; Don Griffin, Chs. 3, 4, & 5. The Wolper assignment is a most read. The Griffin's is a support reading.
After reading, report on the following sub-topics: 300 words each heading below here.
a) The hospital Industry,
b) What is Organization?,
c) The Structures of the hospital,
d) The Bureaucratic Principles,
e) A Team of Three,
f) Governance,
g) The Board of Trustees,
h) Functions of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
