Create an annotated bibliography analyzing six peerreviewed articles about doctoral student success APA 7 formatting

Overview

I have an assignment for my doctoral course focused on doctoral student success. I need to create an annotated bibliography using a minimum of six peer-reviewed academic articles. Three can come from articles I have already worked with, but I need to find at least three additional peer-reviewed sources.

For each of the six articles, I need to write approximately 600 words covering:

  • The full citation in APA 7th edition
  • The purpose of the study
  • The key findings
  • The author(s)’ main viewpoint
  • A summary of the theory, research findings, or main argument
  • A critical analysis explaining how the article contributes to understanding doctoral student success
  • The usefulness/strengths of the article
  • The limitations of the research
  • Future research directions proposed by the authors

Altogether, the annotated bibliography should be approximately 3,600 words, not including the citations. I also need to track and organize all six sources using Zotero or another reference management tool and make sure the references follow APA 7th edition.

Do you have access to JSTOR or ProQuest? I need to use legitimate peer-reviewed scholarly articles, ideally ones that I can access through an academic database.

Also, AI-generated writing cannot be used for the final submission. I need the final work to be genuinely written by a person in a natural academic voice. The school may use AI-detection software, so I need the work to reflect my own writing and analysis rather than AI-generated text. I’m aiming for the detector to indicate 90%+ human-written content, although I understand AI detectors themselves cannot guarantee or verify authorship.
