Part 1:
For this assignment, look at Grossmont College's policy on Academic Integrity (Links to an external site.).
You will do a short write-up of this website, using three different prompts with three different section headings.
The three prompts are as follows:
New Things You Learned: What new information did you learn from reading this college policy?
How to Avoid Accidental Plagiarism: Describe how a student might commit plagiarism unintentionally and what extra steps should someone take to prevent this happening to them. (Hint: do not describe how to avoid blatant intentional plagiarism in this answer.)
Read the examples listed under the section: "Academic fraud includes, but is not limited to, the following situations:"
Look at the list of different types of academic fraud that occur on campus. Which ones are the most common, in your opinion, and why? Is there anything the college can do to address the problem?
