Overview
I'm working on a calculus discussion question and need an explanation and answer to help me learn.
We continue to build mathematical models in this module. Here we use what we have been studying in Modules Two and Three to build a model using a trigonometric function that models a real-world situation. Trigonometric models are particularly useful for systems that have repeating patterns, such as seasonal trends and circular orbits. In this problem, a game designer is developing a game that needs to calculate the position of a person on a Ferris wheel.
For your initial post, you must do the following:
Module 6-1 Discussion A Ferris wheel
- Go to Module Six in Mobius to find information about the Ferris wheel to use in your discussion post.
- Solve the problem in the Mobius module discussion
- Explain how you got your answer
